Directions

Below are the detailed directions to the most popular meetings in Seoul. If you need transportation information for other cites, do a Google search "Korean transportation help English" for the best way to get up-to-date subway, bus schedules, maps, etc.

USO

Subway:

OPTION #1) Take subway line 4 or 6 to Samgakji Station. Samgakji Station is stop # 628 on line 6, and stop # 428 on line 4. From there, it is less than a ten-minute walk. Go out exit 10, go straight and walk about ten minutes. The USO will be on your left.

OPTION #2) You can also get to the USO via subway line number 1. Get off at Namyeong Station (stop #134). Leave the station (there is only one way out) and take a right. Go to the corner and take another right. Walk about ten minutes and you will see the USO on your right-hand side.

You will see a blue and white USO sign. The street entrance to the USO is blocked by a chain-link fence, so you'll need to walk in the driveway and enter from the side. Once inside the parking lot, go to the USO main doors (double door in center of building) and turn right; we meet in the canteen in the back on Mon-Fri. and upstairs on Saturday.

PS: It is not unusual to see Korean Police outside the USO

International Catholic Church & International Lutheran Church

Both of these meeting locations are accessible from subway line 6.

Get off at Hangangjin station (stop #631) and go out exit 2. To make sure that you are headed in the right direction, look around as you come out the exit. In one direction (toward Itaewon), the road is straight. Do not go in that direction. Go in the direction in which the road curves off to the right. Follow the curve, and you will see a pedestrian bridge over the highway. Go over the bridge. The International Lutheran Church is right there at the bottom of the bridge, about a five-minute walk from Hangangjin Station. The International Catholic Church is about a ten-minute walk down the hill from the Lutheran church on the same side of the road. The 3:30 meeting is in a small building behind the main church building. Walk up the driveway and go in the doorway next to the playground at the bottom of the stairs up to the chapel building.

You can also get to the 3:30 meeting by taking subway line K1 (an offshoot of line 1) and getting  off at Hannam station (stop # K129). Go out the Hannam station exit, and turn right. Walk about five minutes to a major intersection, cross the street, and turn left. The International Catholic Church will be on your right. Again, Sunday's meeting is in a small building behind the main church building. Walk up the driveway and go in the doorway next to the playground at the bottom of the stairs up to the chapel building.

The distance from either Hannam or  Hangangjin to the 3:30 meeting is about the same: roughly a ten-minute walk.
